New Cosmo Venue

Officials of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas plan to open a 3,000-capacity event center by the end of the year featuring décor influenced by an Eastern European glass factory.

The 65,000-square-foot room has reportedly sat empty since the hotel and casino opened in 2010. Details such as 18-foot ceilings, industrial-look light fixtures and a vintage wooden bar are just some of the amenities.

The new venue will be named Chelsea, and the casino’s existing venue, the 4,500-capacity The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan, will be renamed. Construction is expected to begin in March.
