Teams With Airline

The Sydney Opera House and Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways have entered a three-year partnership rumoured to be worth more than $9 million.

It will bring more international acts to New South Wales and encourage tourism from the Middle East.

Opera House chief executive Louise Herron said it would widen the venue’s programming. The first visits through the deal will be the Netherlands Dance Theatre in June and Holland’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in November.
