SMG To Operate
Puerto Rico Arena

SMG Latin America has closed a management deal to operate a new multipurpose arena and performing arts center in Humacao, Puerto Rico.

Effective as of February, SMG will handle booking and day-to-day operations of both venues, expecting about 90 events per year between the two facilities. The PAC can hold 1,000 people while the arena will have a capacity of 8,000.

“Puerto Rico is a growing destination for the entertainment industry with the perfect combination of excellent facilities, beautiful beaches, and Caribbean flavors,” said SMG CEO and president Wes Westley “These facilities will give a new boost to the east region of the Island. We are honored to continue our facility management relationship with Puerto Rico.”

SMG Latin America was established in San Juan in 2006 and operates arena and convention center facilities in Puerto Rico, Chile and Jamaica.
