A Short List from Arctic Monkeys

The British rock band announces a brief May run through the western states with stops in Washington, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.

While certainly not the longest Arctic Monkeys tour, the six shows represent the American side of the band’s road plans. Beginning in mid-June, the group embarks on a European tour, playing festivals such as Best Kept Secret in The Netherlands, Croatia’s T-Mobile INmusic Festival, the Open’er Festival in Poland and Italy’s Rock In Roma.

The Arctic Monkeys begins its U.S. string of dates with a festival stop as well. Launching the road trip at the Sasquatch! Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre near Quincy, Wash., May 24, the band will hit five other destinations before the end of the month.
