Johnny Marr’s Spring Road Journey

From Coachella to Brooklyn, from Las Vegas to Boston, Johnny Marr plots an April-May run through the U.S. in support of his upcoming album coming out at the end of this month.

Scheduled for a Feb. 26 release on Sire/ADA, Marr’s The Messenger is already receiving accolades from the press.  London’s Guardian described the effort as former the Smiths member’s return to “the big tunes and unmistakable, cascading guitar arpeggios” reaffirming him as “the guitarist of his generation.”

You’ll have a chance to experience Marr in intimate venues when he ventures forth on a brief coast-to-coast run starting in mid-April.  Beginning in Las Vegas on one of two shows during the tour that also includes New Order, stops include a gig at Coachella as well as concerts in Denver, Omaha, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philly and New York.
