Lady Antebellum, Ping Pong & You

Lady Antebellum is calling the March 23 benefit at Nashville’s Ensworth High School its very first “Ping Pong & Songs,” joining the country music trio’s love for the game and their passion for songwriting.  The plan calls for 31 doubles teams competing all day in hopes of making the final celebrity round and winning a special grand prize. 

Come nightfall the action moves to the school’s theatre where Lady Antebellum and a few select friends will perform in a songwriters’ in-the-round concert.

Proceeds will benefit the group’s new charity organization, LadyAID, created to raise awareness and support for children in need.  LadyAID’s partners include Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Children’s Miracle Network, MyLIFEspeaks and the UN Refugee Agency.

“This is really a dream day for us … getting friends and fans together to play ping pong, play music and raise money for LadyAID,” Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood said.  “Charles and I … better known as ‘The Dynasty’ … will challenge anyone who wants to try and take us at the table!  It’s going to be a total blast.”
