The xx + Grizzly Bear Announce Co-headline Tour

“Exciting news!” The xx exclaimed on its Facebook page today. The band has extended its spring plans in North American by booking a short run of co-headline dates with Grizzly Bear.

The xx is currently wrapping up a January/February U.S. tour. Tonight the band will take the stage for its second of two nights at Austin City Limits Live At Moody Theatre, followed by shows in Dallas; Tulsa, Okla.; and Tucson, Ariz. After that the band has booked dates in Australia and Europe, as well as a few more trips to the states.

Grizzly Bear is also busy crisscrossing the globe with upcoming dates in Taiwan, Japan and Singapore, along with gigs in Europe and the U.S.

Both bands put out new albums last year. The xx is promoting Coexist and Grizzly Bear’s latest is Shields.

The co-headline tour begins June 6 in Toronto. Check out the itinerary below.

You can also catch both acts at Coachella in Indio, Calif., April 13 & 20 and NYC’s Governors Ball Music Festival June 9.

Tickets for the co-headline tour go on sale Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. EST.
