More Steve Martin + Edie Brickell Dates

We’ve got a Valentine’s Day gift for fans of Steve Martin, the Steep Canyon Rangers and/or Edie Brickell. An additional nine dates have been announced for their spring/summer excursion.  

Billed as “Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell,” the tour goes with the upcoming album by Martin and Brickell. Love Has Come For You is due out April 23 on Rounder Records.

Along with The Steep Canyon Rangers, the 13-track album features Esperanza Spalding on bass, veteran studio guitarist Waddy Wachtel and Nickel Creek alumni Sara and Sean Watkins. Love Has Come For You was produced by Peter Asher of Peter and Gordon fame.

The tour begins May 22 in Fort Myers, Fla. Previously announced stops include more dates in Florida as well as gigs in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The last gig on the schedule is Aug. 7 in Los Angeles.

July 25 – Chicago, Ill., Chicago Theatre     
July 26 – Midland, Mich., Midland Center For The Performing Arts     
July 27 – Indianapolis, Ind., Murat Theatre     
July 28 – Kettering, Ohio, Fraze Pavilion For The Perf. Arts

Tickets for the Toronto performance are on sale now. University Park’s onsale is Feb. 20, followed by additional onsales scheduled through April.
