The Postal Service Expands Reunion Tour

The Postal Service has filled in its calendar between late May and mid-June, as well as additional slots in June and July, with more U.S. gigs. The new dates also include a few stops in Canada.  

The previously announced first leg of the reunion tour begins April 9 and includes headline shows in the U.S., along with London and Paris. Last time we checked in with the band, dates were scheduled through late May as well as June 14 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The duo has since added another night at Barclays Center (June 15).

The Postal Service’s Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello are taking a full band on the road for the their first tour since 2003. The duo is being joined by Jenny Lewis (Rilo Kiley, Jenny & Johnny) and Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Bright Eyes).

Festival appearances are booked at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. (April 13 & 20); Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain (May 23); and Sasquatch! Music Festival in Quincy, Wash. (May 27).

The new dates kick off May 28 in Boise, Idaho. Check out the latest additions to the schedule below.
