Axs TV Partners With CBS

Axs TV has a new partner in CBS.

The multiyear contract is expected to provide Axs with more live entertainment content. In return, CBS will take an undisclosed interest in the cable channel while promoting it on CBS’s television network, TV stations, radio stations and billboards, according to the Los Angeles Times.

CBS has rights to the Grammys, Tony Awards, and Academy of Country Music Awards, which could mean associated content on Axs.

The cable channel is operated by AEG, Mark Cuban Companies, CAA and Ryan Seacrest Media and has 38 million subscribers. AEG also has its Axs ticketing platform.
