Primus In The Spring

The band announces its spring 3D tour, a cross-country run beginning on the West Coast in May and wrapping in the Empire State one month later. With stops in Canada and the U.S., many pre-sales kick in this week.

Primus began talking up the 3D-enhanced aspects of its tour plans last July when the band announced its fall leg.  Describing the outing as a “one-of-a-kind psychedelic” experience with Quad Surround Sound, the adventure pretty much stayed east of The Rockies.

The new leg includes markets missed on the fall journey, such as the West Coast as well as Canada provinces Alberta, Manitoba and Toronto.  But before the band heads for the tour’s first stop at “BottleRock Napa Valley” in Napa, Calif., in May, it has three gigs in Mexico City at Auditorio Blackberry March 11-13.  Those shows follow an appearance at the “Buku Music + Art Project” in New Orleans March 8.
