Heads Up On Andy Grammer

Launching his spring tour in the Rocky Mountains, one-time street busker Andy Grammer has plenty of roadwork to keep him busy.  Traveling with special guest Parachute, destinations include New York, Minneapolis, Chicago, Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Atlanta.

Grammer has come a long way in the short time since he was singing for free in Santa Monica, Calif.   The singer/songwriter has appeared onstage with Taylor Swift, received a BMI “Pop Music Award,” performed for his holiness the Dalai Lama and co-hosted the American Music Awards.

Another sign of his rising star status was when he appeared on the cover of a lil’ ol’ concert trade publication based in Fresno, Calif., joining the few, the gifted and the brave who blazed that trail before him.

He’s also done well on the pop chart with hits like “Keep Your Head Up” and “Fine By Me” from his 2011 self-titled album.

“I’ve been hard at work writing and recording my next album but I’ve missed my amazing fans so much,” Grammer said.  “I just love to play music for people that love to hear it and I know that’s about to happen on tour so I can’t tell you how excited I am!”
