More Stars For Tim McGraw’s ‘Superstar’ Night
Happening at the MGM Grand Garden Arena April 8, CBS will air the dick clark production on a date yet to be announced. The show is being described as a night of “high-octane” performances paired with musical collaborations.
While Aldean, Bryan and Swift seem like naturals for country music collaborations, having Ne-Yo join the party might seem a little odd. That is, until you look at his past work with McGraw. The R&B artist first teamed with the country star when the two of them appeared in a Nashville-style songwriting session a few years ago.
McGraw is definitely fired up about the upcoming show in Las Vegas, and he is as excited about the music as he is about the event benefitting ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music.
“There’s no better time for live music than in the heat of the summer,” McGraw said. “Country music is hotter than it has ever been, and with some help from a few friends in other genres too, we’re going to get summer started off right. I’ve been lucky enough to have all these artists join me on tour, and it’ll be fun to get everyone back together to help raise money and bring some attention to Lifting Lives. Not enough people know what good work the organization does, and when I was asked to help put this show together, it was a no-brainer.”
Tickets are available with prices running from $105-$205. Visit ACMLiftingLives.org and ACMcountry.com for more information.
