Clive Burr Dies

Clive Burr, former Iron Maiden drummer, died after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis March 13 at his home.

Burr, 56, joined Iron Maiden in 1979 and performed on the albums Iron Maiden, Killers and The Number Of The Beast. 

Burr exited Iron Maiden in 1982 and performed with a succession of bands including Dee Snider’s band Desperado, Trust, Stratus, Gogmagog and Elixir. He was diagnosed with MS in 1994.
