Alice Cooper + Marilyn Manson Co-Bill Tour

Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie have toured together, and so have Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Now Cooper and Manson are getting their chance to team up for the “Masters of Madness” tour.  

An announcement on Cooper’s website points out the tour “is obviously a ‘dream’ pairing, or some might say a ‘nightmare.’” Get ready for theatrics, all sorts of super scary props, and plenty of stage makeup.

Speaking of nightmares, Cooper is touring in support of his most recent album, Welcome 2 My Nightmare. The LP was released in 2011 (the same year he was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame) as the sequel to his 1975 concept album, Welcome to My Nightmare. 

Manson put out his eighth full-length album, Born Villain, last year. The LP features the lead single “No Reflection,” which was nominated for a 2013 Grammy for best hard rock/metal performance.

The shock rockers hit the road together in June. According to Cooper’s site, the first stop is June 1 but the city and venue haven’t been revealed yet. The last gig on the routing is June 28 in Rockford, Ill. Here is the schedule so far, with more shows in the U.S. and Canada yet to be announced.

Plus one VIP winner each night will get the chance to appear on stage during the show.

A presale for select dates begins March 14. General onsales are scheduled March 15-16. Some shows are already on sale.
