Security Chase Ends In Death

A man apparently trying to sneak into a Volbeat concert fell more than 20 feet to his death from a balcony at Lone Star Event Center in Lubbock, Texas, March 11.

Jubal Colvin, 39, was denied entry into a concert by the Danish rock band and reportedly attempted to get in the 2,500-seat theatre by jumping a fence.

He was chased by security through a fenced-off area and jumped off the balcony toward another fence and missed, hitting his head on the concrete below, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.

The case, initially reported as a homicide, is still under investigation, according to the paper.
