Manager Dies Mysteriously

Matthew Suhar, 46, founder of Tantrum Management & Touring, died after falling out of a moving taxi in Chicago March 9.

The death has been ruled an accident but details are still unclear; the cab driver called 911 then left the scene before police arrived, according to a Chicago webzine. Police found Suhar lying in the street and bleeding from his head.

Witnesses said it appeared Suhar jumped from the moving cab and police are investigating, according to DNAinfo.com.

Suhar was considered a “bright light” of the Midwestern music scene.

The roster of Tantrum, which acts as agency as well as management, includes The Baldwin Brothers, Carlos Ortega, Flame Shark and Rebecca Wickins.

Tantrum, which listed several employees, has shuttered.
