Mo. Shed, No Reserve

The 15,500-capacity Lake Ozarks Amphitheatre in Camdenton, Mo., which has hosted Willie Nelson, Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw and others, is going on the auction block March 28.

Also known as Stoneridge Amphitheatre, the shed hosted the Crossover Festival from 2008 to 2010, featuring Christian acts, The Charlie Daniels Band, Miranda Lambert and others.  It was shuttered and bought in 2009 by a couple who ran an exotic animal attraction.

“We envision using this amazing 15,500-seating amphitheatre, 77 acres and parking for 7,000 cars, as a hub for entertainment and events for the whole lake region and we are committed, as well as excited, to making that happen,” new owner Tony Oddo told the Springfield News-Leader in 2009.

Now it’s up for grabs again.  The sale is being handled by Williams Auction and includes all support facilities, equipment inventory and a driving range to the north with self-serve range balls that can be repupposed for other commercial uses.

Those who cannot be at the on-site auction at 1 p.m. CDT can bid at AuctionNetwork.com.
