More Festival Acts

The Fuji Rock Festival set for July 26-28 in Niigata, Japan, added 19 acts last week, including Aimee Mann  Daniel Lanois and Gary Clark Jr.

Others were Jazzanova  Kendrick Lamar  Lotus  Mumford & Sons  Ron Sexsmith  Sparks  Suzanne Vega  Tahiti 80  Tower of Power and Yellowcard.

Summer Sonic, which takes place in Tokyo and Osaka Aug. 10-11, added Hot Chelle Rae and The Weeknd.

In other festival news, Japanese foreign indie record label Hostess announced an initial lineup for its Fifth Hostess Club Weekender, a two-day showcase of Hostess acts that will move from Tokyo’s waterfront to its original venue, the Garden Hall in Ebisu, on June 8-9.

Mum, These New Puritans, Little Barrie, Team Me, Wavvs and Indians are slated so far.
