Summer With Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeroes

Although Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeroes’ schedule is filled to the brim with appearances from BottleRock Napa Valley in California to Governors Ball in NYC, festivals aren’t the only places you can catch the band this summer. New headline dates have just been added.

It would be a shame if the indie folk/neo-psychedelic wasn’t touring over the summer. Songs like “40 Day Dream” and “Home” seem made for singing and clapping along to on summer nights.

Alex Ebert and the band are putting the finishing touches on its next studio album, due out early this summer as the follow-up to 2012’s Here.

In addition to the festival appearances and headline gigs, you can catch the 12-piece band taking part in the Mumford & Sons’ Gentlemen Of The Road Stopovers and playing with Alabama Shakes at Red Rock Amphitheatre near Morrison, Colo., June 2.
