NC Man Faces Ticket Charges

A North Carolina man could face felony charges for promising concert and sporting event tickets to his coworkers in exchange for thousands of dollars in advance payments.

Jason Richardson reportedly offered tickets to New Kids On The Block, UNC-Duke basketball games and the Master’s golf tournament but never delivered. He claimed to be raising money on behalf of the American Cancer Society, police said.

Richardson is facing six felony counts of obtaining properly by false pretenses. He’s being held on a $30,000 bond.
