The July 9 concert at the home of Beantown’s famed Green Monster will mark McCartney’s first time playing the baseball stadium since his two-night stand in August 2009, which resulted in the ballpark’s highest ever two-day concert attendance.

Here’s the ticketing situation: A pre-sale for American Express cardholders launches April 2.  The general onsale launches April 5 at 10 a.m.  Visit PaulMcCartney.com for more info.

For those of you keeping track at home, here’s McCartney’s itinerary as it stands today.

May 4 – Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Mineirao Stadium
May 6 – Goiania, Brazil, Serra Dourada Stadium
May 9 – Fortaleza, Brazil, Castelao Stadium
June 22 – Warsaw, Poland, Stadion Narodowy
June 25 –  Verona, Italy, Teatro Romano
June 27 – Vienna, Austria, Ernst Happel Stadion
July 9 – Boston, Mass., Fenway Park

Update: McCartney is also playing this year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., sometime during the festival’s June 13-16 run (daily lineups have not been announced).  McCartney’s people are calling the Boston date the first “confirmed” U.S. date for his “Out There” tour.
