Mumford & Sons At Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Mumford & Sons have called up a group of their “Gentlemen of the Road” buddies for a special show at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Along with the British folk rock band, the gig features Vampire Weekend, Ben Howard and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes.

Plus, Haim and Bear’s Den will take the stage.

“What are you doing, oh say … Saturday 6th July? Well, sure hope you’re free,” Mumford & Sons says in a post on the band’s website.

NME points out that in addition to the July 6 gig marking Mumford & Sons’ biggest ever headline show, the performance is also the first headline concert booked at the renovated Olympic venue.

The gigs feature a variety of acts appearing on one or more dates including Vampire Weekend, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes and Bear’s Den, as well as fun., Alabama Shakes, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Vaccines and more.

Tickets for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park show go on sale to the public tomorrow (April 19).
