Nick Cave & The Bad Seedswill headline the first All Tomorrow’s Parties to be in Iceland.

The two-day fest at Keflavík will be the second to debut on the tiny island between the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans, following the first staging on Sonar in Reykjavík Feb. 15-16.

The other acts lined up to play June 28 and 29 at the site on the former NATO base at Ásbrú, which U.S. forces evacuated in 2006, include Chelsea Light Moving (featuring Sonic Youth founder Thurston Moore), The Fall,  The Notwist,  Thee Oh Sees, Deerhoof, and Dead Skeletons.

Promoter Barry Hogan been able to grow his All Tomorrow’s Parties festivals since selling half the company to UK-based MAMA Group in October.

He did so by liquidating his promoting company, transferring its assets to a new unit called Willwal Limited and hiring former Latitude Festival booker John Dunn.

Iceland Airwaves (Oct. 30 to Nov. 3), which was first staged in Reykjavík in 1999, has Kraftwerk, Stealing Sheep, On And On, Zola Jesus, and  Robert Forster, who was formerly with Aussie act The Go-Betweens.
