Six60’s Farewell A Success

Dunedin band Six60’s farewell run before it relocates to Europe saw eight of the ten shows sold out.

The band will play Australia en route to Berlin, where it will set itself up for the European release of its self-titled debut album through Sony Music. It will tour Europe and the UK in June, with a slot at the Glastonbury Festival.

It’s been a hectic 12 months for the act which named itself after the apartment they shared in 2005. Their quadruple platinum album yielded five hit singles, and they tested out the North American live market.
