Late Summer With The Allman Brothers Band

The Allman Brothers Band is offering fans several choices when it comes to seeing the blues/rock band this summer. Gregg Allman & the gang are playing two “evening with” shows, six gigs with Steve Winwood, and four nights with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.

Or you can catch ABB Aug. 16-17 at its previously announced second annual Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pa.

“This will be a good little run. We’ve always loved Steve and we’ve been listening to a lot of Grace’s stuff, so I imagine we’re going to have a bunch of fun together,” Allman said.
Seems like there’s a good chance ABB will include its version of Spencer David Group’s “Don’t Want You No More” on the setlist for the Steve Winwood shows. Or maybe they’ll play the Winwood-penned tune “Can’t Find My Way Home.”

The “evening with” performances are set for Chicago Aug. 20-21, followed by the gigs with Winwood Aug. 23-31 and shows with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals Sept. 2-7.
