Hardwick Invades Late-Night
Chris Harwick’s Nerdist Empire can further take over the world thanks to Comedy Central’s plan to broaden its late-night television block of programming.
Hardwick, a Comedy Central alumni, will host a new show in the fall, co-produced by Will Farrell and Adam McKay’s Funny Or Die, that will run four nights a week at midnight following The Colbert Report, according to Deadline Hollywood.
The half-hour show’s format is described as a comedy panel with plenty of social-media mixed in.
Hardwick, a two-time host of the Pollstar Awards show, already hosts AMC’s “Talking Dead,” his after-show recap of “The Walking Dead” each week, BBC America’s “The Nerdist” and commentaries for “Dr. Who” specials, along with Nerdist Channel podcasts and his stand-up tours.
