Presented by indie non-profit producer One Reel and taking place Aug. 31-Sept. 2 at the Seattle Center, Bumbershoot sez this year’s blowout will be visited by zombies, specifically famed ’60s Brit band The Zombies.  Also on this year’s almost stretching-to-infinity lineup are Alt-J, Icona Pop, Deerhunter, Delta Rae, Bob Mould, The Breeders, Superchunk, Redd Kross, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience, Baroness, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Gary Numan, Tegan and Sara and more.

But wait, there’s more, as in an all-ages electronic stage at EMP’s Sky Church.  Beginning at 7 p.m. each night and featuring national as well as local acts, the EDM at EMP stage is being presented by Bumbershoot along with local promoters USC Events and Trinity Nightclub.

Topping the daily lineups, Heart, Kendrick Lamar and Crystal Castles are on Aug. 31; Death Cab For Cutie (playing their 2003 album, Transatlanticism), fun., Tegan and Sara Sept. 1; and Bassnectar, MGMT, Allen Stone and Alt-J Sept. 2.
