Of course, we’re just scratching the surface of the almost endless list of artists ACL revealed in its initial lineup announcement.  Also appearing are up-and-comers like Purity Ring, Foxygen, Wild Belle, HAIM and others.  Drawing from its own backyard, the festival will also present acts that call Austin “home,” including The Bright Light Social Hour, The Black Angels, Okkervil River, Court Yard Hounds, True Believers, The Band Of Heathens, Shakey Graves, and My Jerusalem.

If you’re not completely up-to-speed on everyone appearing at this year’s ACL, Clear Channel’s iHeart Radio will launch the ACL Festival Radio.  As ACL’s official radio partner, the station’s format will be loaded with acts appearing at this year’s extravaganza in Texas.

Three-day passes go on sale Tuesday, May 7 at 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time.  Visit ACLFestival.com for all you need to know.
