Backstreet Boys ‘In A World Like This’

Backstreet Boys promised fans over the weekend that “a HUGE announcement” was coming Monday. Now that the group’s huge summer itinerary is officially here, we’ve got all the information you need to know about the U.S. and Canadian dates.

Nick Carter broke the news this morning about the “In A World Like This” tour during the “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” radio show.

“Backstreet Boys are going on tour this summer,” Nick Carter said  “That’s right, baby! All five of us are back together. It’s our 20th anniversary tour.”

The outing marks the boy band’s first tour with Kevin Richardson since he parted ways with the group in 2006. Last summer he officially rejoined the lineup during a performance on “Good Morning America.”

Along with Carter and Richardson, the lineup features Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean.

The Grove @ Farmers Market, Los Angeles, Calif.

Since forming in 1993 the band has put out seven full-length studio albums. A follow-up to the Backstreet Boys’ most recent LP, 2009’s This Is Us, is due out later this year. Plus, a documentary is in the works.
