Iowa Shed Dreams

Officials of St. Charles, Iowa, hope an under-construction amphitheater will help put the town of less than 700 on the map.

Avenue Of The Saints Amphitheater will feature an 18,000-capacity shed in a natural, hillside setting surrounded by woods. Construction on a permanent stage and seating is reportedly expected to take a couple of years.

The first event on the books for the site is the Heroes And Saints music festival including Better Than Ezra, Sister Hazel, Diamond Rio and Mark Wills June 15-16.
