Drake Announces 2013 OVO Fest Details

Come August it will be time to take another trip to Drake’s hometown for the 4th annual OVO Fest. The 2013 festival marks the first time the Toronto event has expanded to two days. So far, the lineup features Drake, Frank Ocean and James Blake.

Scheduled Aug. 4-5, OVO Fest takes place at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre. The festival is named after the record label Drake co-founded – October’s Very Own.

Frank Ocean headlines the first night, which includes James Blake and other special guests. Drake takes over as headliner on the second night. More acts are yet to be announced.

Previous surprise performances have featured Snoop Lion, Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross. Plus, OVO Fest has had guest appearances from Jay Z, Eminem and Stevie Wonder.

Tickets for the 2013 fest go on sale May 24 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Along with two-day festival passes, a limited number of single-day lawn seats will be available. Don’t wait to get tickets – last year’s event sold out in seven minutes.
