Produced by Funfest Productions, presented by Detroit rocker WRIF and scheduled for June 28-30 at Freedom Hill County Park in Sterling Heights, today’s announcement from Stars & Stripes pretty much locks down the three-day lineup.  The festival also offers a carnival midway, an arts & crafts village, monster truck rides, a laser light show on Saturday and fireworks on Sunday.  Other features include a petty zoo, a Banana Derby, classic K-9 dog show and a white tiger discovery exhibit.

“We’re very excited to include Halestorm in the Stars & Stripes music lineup this year,”
Funfest Productions’ Joe Nieporte said.  “This band is quickly taking off and I know they will be a crowd favorite.”

Here’s the blueprint for three days of free music:

Friday, June 28: Collective Soul, Randy Travis, and King’s X

Saturday, June 29: Cake, Puddle Of Mudd, Drowning Pool, and Saliva

Sunday, June 30: Halestorm, Kool & The Gang, and Everlast

But wait, there’s more with Stars & Stripes presenting “the hottest regional and local acts” spread across five stages.

While admission to Stars & Stripes is free, Very Important Person passes come with a price – $30 for the Budweiser National Stage and $38 for the Amphitheatre Stage.  VIP perks include premium front-of-stage seating, access to private restrooms and private bars.  Visit StarsAndStripesFest.com for more information.
