Linkin Temple Pilots?

There’s a new frontman for Stone Temple Pilots – Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington.

The new lineup debuted with a surprise 40-minute set at the KROQ Weenie Roast in Los Angeles May 19.

“Chester has a one-of-a-kind voice that we’ve admired for a long time,” STP guitarist Dean DeLeo said. “We know Linkin Park will always be his priority, but we thought it would be cool to try something together. We managed to find the time to record a song and we’re all really happy with the result.”

The song, “Out Of Time,” was released as a free download. Former frontman Scott Weiland claims he learned of his firing in February through a press release. He has been touring, playing STP songs with a backup band.
