‘Interlocken’ Fun Facts To Know & Tell
With Neil Young & Crazy Horse topping the bill, the “Interlocken Music Festival” will feature Widespread Panic playing two nights, one with John Fogerty; Furthur performing on three nights; The Black Crowes playing two nights and The String Cheese Incident playing two nights, one with Zac Brown.

Scheduled for Sept. 5-8 at Oak Ridge Farm located 35 miles south of Charlottesville, the “Interlocken Music Festival” is building a “less is more” strategy by focusing on quality over quanity. Created by H.O.R.D.E. founder David Frey and Relix Magazine publisher Peter Shapiro, Interlocken will feature two main stages alternating acts so that there’s continuous music from start to finish. Along with its modus operandi of presenting bands on multiple nights, Interlocken promises “exclusive and historical collaborations.”
