Philip H. Anselmo Heads ‘Technicians Of Distortion’

The former Pantera singer hits the road for his first-ever solo outing  in support of his upcoming album.  Stops for Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals include Tulsa, Minneapolis, Chicago, Montreal and New York City.

Who has the chops to back Anselmo on what he has dubbed the “Technicians Of Distortion” tour?  Making up The Illegals are guitarist Marzi Montazeri, Steve Taylor on bass and drummer Jose Manual Gonzalez. 

Anselmo’s Walk Through Exits Only drops July 16 on Housecore Records/Megaforce.

For support the tour includes Warbeast, a band signed to Anselmo’s Housecore label and whose new album – Destroy – was produced by the singer.  Also supporting Anselmo on this journey will be industrial/drone metal one-man band Author and Punisher.
