Blake Shelton Announces ‘Healing In The Heartland’ Details

You already know the date (May 29) and the venue (Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena).  Blake Shelton has now revealed more details about the benefit concert to help victims of the devastating tornados that struck the Moore, Okla., area earlier this week.

Appearing on the concert to be televised live on NBC will be Shelton’s wife, Miranda Lambert, plus Reba and Vince Gill with more guests to be announced.

But you don’t have to be an Oklahoma resident to enjoy the show.  Along with NBC airing the concert at 9 p.m. ET/PT, cable channels Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT will air the event live or on a delayed basis.

“Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy,” Oklahoma born-and-raised Shelton said.  “This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero.”

Benefitting the United Way Of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund, tickets go on sale May 25 at 10 a.m. CDT.  Visit BlakeShelton.com for more information.
