Moody Blues’ ‘Timeless Flight’
The famed British progressive rock band announces its fall tour and reveals details about its mammoth box set containing 17 discs of Moody Blues excellence coming your way next month.

Called Timeless Flight, the hefty package contains pretty much everything a Moody Blues fan could want minus John Lodge popping out to shake hands. Included are 11 CDs containing digitally remastered album tracks, unreleased mixes and outtakes, and complete concert recordings.
But the set doesn’t stop there. Scheduled to drop June 25, Timeless Flight includes three DVDs of rare television performances, promotional videos and a previously unreleased concert video. Also included are songs from those non-band projects such as tracks from Justin Hayward and Lodge’s 1975 Blue Jays album and Hayward’s recording of “Forever Autumn” from Jeff Wayne’s 1978 War Of The Worlds album.
Timeless Flight gives you plenty to look at as well, including a 120-page hardback book with a new essay by Moody Blues tracker Mark Powell along with previously unreleased photos. The eye candy also includes a replica full-color tour poster, a replica Threshold press pack and a Timeless Flight fabric patch.

The band is touring in support of Timeless Flight, playing the U.K. and Europe in June before following up Hayward’s August solo outing with a tour of North America in the fall. Beginning in Louisville, U.S. stops include Cleveland, Kansas City, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Reno. Here’s the schedule:
