Described as “a documentary project on Bruce Springsteen made by the people and for the people,” the film is directed by Baillie Walsh and presented by Mr. Wolf and Ridley Scott Associates.
“Springsteen and I” features some of his most popular tunes and previously unseen performances from The Boss along with fans’ stories.
The documentary will be on the big screen July 22 in movie theaters near and far thanks to a worldwide simultaneous broadcast.
Cinema locations will be announced June 4, the same day you’ll get to pre-order movie tickets.
“This beautifully crafted film provides a unique insight into the powerful bond between a recording artist and those who connect so profoundly with his music,” said executive producer Ridley Scott.

“World War Z,” which tells the tale of a “race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself,” stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale. In other words, Brad Pitt needs to save the world from a mega-major zombie outbreak.
Tim Curry reportedly suffered a stroke Thursday night at his home in Los Angeles.
The Daily Mail reports that few details were available about the stroke but that his longtime agent said the English actor/singer is “doing great.”
“He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humor,” Marcia Hurwitz told the Daily Mail.
In addition to earning fame for his role in the cult hit “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” Curry’s resume includes theatre performances, voice work in animated TV shows and films, playing Wadsworth in “Clue” and three albums.
So, Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky,” featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, is pretty fantastic, right? Well, surprise, surprise – Liam Gallagher doesn’t think so.
“I’d write that in a f***ing hour” Gallagher said in interview with Sony’s MU streaming service, according to The Independent (via Consequence of Sound). “I don’t know what the fuss is about, you know what I mean? It’s like f**k off, give me a f**king break.”
Oh, Liam.
