Riverfest Now First Security

Riverfest Amphitheater in Little Rock, Ark., was renamed First Security Amphitheater May 17 in a naming rights deal with First Security Bank.

First Security contributed about $750,000 toward the shed’s much-needed renovations in exchange for a 20-year deal.

The 7,000-capacity venue, damaged by Hurricane Isaac last year, has a new roof, paint, awning, chairs and other upgrades in time for the city’s annual Riverfest music festival May 24-26. 

Riverfest officials also contributed $150,000 toward the recent $1.2 million renovations, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
