Venue execs: the EPA wants your help. The Environmental Protection Agency wants to keep resources out of landfills – including wasted catering food.

The EPA will host a webinar entitled “Green Sports and Venues as Environmental Stewards” May 29 from 10 a.m to 11:30 a.m. PT to share the positive changes experienced by several sports teams and non-profit organizations through managing waste, conserving water and energy, using carbon offsets and reducing food waste.

EPA Waste Management Specialist Steve Fishman will moderate the panel featuring Syd Mandelbaum of Rock And Wrap It Up!, St. Louis Cardinals VP of Stadium Operations Joe Abernathy and Kansas City Chiefs Director of Facilities Brandon Hamilton.
