Bjork will augment her headlining appearance at the Fuji Rock Festival in July with three performances of her relatively intimate “Biophilia” show at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo July 31, Aug. 3 and Aug. 6.
Only 800 tickets are available for each performance, all priced at 22,000 yen ($217).
Promoter Smash has set up a special lottery system in two stages. The first phase reportedly sold out in minutes. The second will begin this week.
Mumford & Sons will also add a stand-alone date to the band’s Fuji itinerary, marking their Japan concert debut. They’ll be playing one night only, July 30, at Studio Coast in Tokyo.
