Dog Wanted Dead Or Alive

The Desoto County District Attorney’s Office in Mississippi issued an arrest warrant for rapper Tim Dog  aka Timothy Blair, for allegedly faking his death to get out of paying thousands he owes women he was convicted of swindling in 2011.

Blair, best know for his the 1990s song, “Fuck Compton,” reportedly died from complications of diabetes Feb. 14. The death was initially reported in hip-hop magazine The Source, but the story has been removed from the website.

One of the women the rapper was making restitution payments to reported to prosecutors the payments stopped coming around the time of the alleged death.

When prosecutors couldn’t find a death certificate, obituary, burial site, hospital records or any other proof of Blair’s death, a judge approved the warrant for contempt of court.

Blair was sentenced in 2011 to two weeks in jail and five years probation for bilking a woman he met through an online dating service out of $32,000 under the premise of investing the money in recording a new album. Blair was also ordered to pay $19,000 restitution.
