Back To Montana

Back around the dawn of time (say about 1981) a young pup named David Snyder joined Regency Artists in Los Angeles.

He was followed in the door by Brad Gelfond, Stan Strickland, and Michael Marion along with Marc Geiger, John Marx, Rick Shipp, Don Muller and Rob Kahane as the agency grew in stature.

Founded by Richard Rosenberg, Fred Dale, Frank Rio and Peter Grosslight, Regency went on to merge with two other Hollywood talent agencies to form Triad Artists and then merged with William Morris where it came to dominate the music department of what is now WME.

Snyder recently retired from WME after the rarest of agenting careers: one that was essentially spent with the same company.

He was also an original member of the Montana Music Mafia that included The Goon, Ron Baird, James Yelich, Keith Miller and other notables from the land of the Unabomber.
