Glens Falls Civic Sale?

The city of Glens Falls, N.Y., is considering putting its arena up for sale.

The Glens Falls Common Council approved a measure to seek bids for an appraisal of the publicly owned Glens Falls Civic Center

Mayor John Diamond wants a referendum on the November ballot on whether the city should offer it for sale.

The 7,514-capacity venue opened in 1979 and is home to the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League. 

Recent concerts include Gary Allen, Third Day, and Alan Jackson.
