Disco Donnie, Moog Foundation
Team Up

Disco Donnie Presents is teaming up with The Bob Moog Foundation following a $10,000 donation of proceeds from one of the electronic dance music promoter’s fests and a pledge to match fan contributions to the organization through its ticket pages.

The move is expected to further the foundation’s mission to educate kids through the intersection of music and science.

“Donnie’s prominence within the EDM community and his interests in the area of innovative education that integrates music and science make this partnership a natural fit,” foundation executive director Michelle Moog-Koussa said. “We are especially grateful that DDP has agreed to match all donations made through the ticket donation portals. This extra show of support will provide added incentive for concertgoers to pay tribute to their musical roots while inspiring the future through supporting The Bob Moog Foundation.”

Specifically, the partnership will help grow the foundation’s Dr. Bob’s Soundschool program, which is currently focused in North Carolina. Growing the program costs $20 per student or $500 per classroom, and the organization hopes to grow it regionally and nationally over the next few years.
