Milwaukee’s Cave Concerts

There’s a new, old, place to see concerts in Milwaukee – in a cave.

The city’s historic Miller Caves is gearing up to host concerts beginning June 16 with John C. Reilly.

The shows, organized by the city’s Pabst Theater and MillerCoors, will be a first for the space, which was originally used by Miller Brewing Company founder Frederick Miller to store his earliest brews.

“We are taking this huge risk,” Pabst Theater’s Andy Nelson told Milwaukee Public Radio’s WUWM. “This idea of bringing a world-famous actor and phenomenal musician to this cave we have in Milwaukee. But we think that’s great – that’s taking a risk and that’s doing something that’s exciting.”

The cave can hold up to 100 people.
