Miss M Divine With Mengers

Bette Midler’s one-woman Broadway show, “I’ll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers,” has become a tough ticket, recouping its $2.4 million investment in just more than eight weeks.

Midler takes the Great White Way for the first time in 30 years with the show, a straightforward biography of the late super-agent.

It may have earned no Tony Award nominations, but “I’ll Eat You Last…” recently pulled in $808,816 in just seven shows, all at full capacity, and becomes the fourth Broadway production so far in 2013 to recoup.
