Nashville’s Newest Sister

A delegation led by Tamworth Mayor Col Murray will meet with Nashville Mayor Karl Dean at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum June 7, where they will sign a deal making Tamworth the seventh sister city for Nashville.

The pact will increase the profile of musicians in both cities, and aims to bolster support for the annual 10-day Tamworth Country Music Festival in January.  Tamworth is known as the Australian home of country music.

The Tamworth festival will be showcased at Fan Fair X as part of Country Music Association of America Festival (June 6-9).
