LoCash Cowboys Survive Crash
LoCash Cowboys overcame a bus accident near Marinette, Wis., June 14 with no major injuries – just in time for the band’s album release.
The country duo was on the interstate on the way to a show when the right front tire popped off the bus, according to a statement. The bus was propelled across a 10-foot median and two lanes of traffic, then over a 4-foot wall into a ditch.
No injuries were reported, and the band made the show via rental cars.
“The bus driver was really the hero in all of this,” LoCash’s Chris Lucas said. “He manhandled the bus and miraculously somehow kept it from flipping over.”
The announcement of the accident came June 17, a day before LoCash Cowboys dropped their self-titled album. The band was traveling from New York, where it was on a media run.
